Rio Marié Season 2021 Fishing Report Week 2: September 12 to 19

Weather: Our week was very warm and we had a few showers and overcast days.

Temperatures between: 25 and 32ºC

River Conditions: The water was still dropping but not as quickly as last week. The water temperature of Igarapé was by no means warm, but the river will keep going in that direction soon.

Fishing Conditions: The fishing conditions are great, more specifically when we started our week fishing in the lower part of the Marié. Later, we rode to the middle section with our awesome group - two experienced anglers and six beginners. It was a great mix of seasoned anglers and new anglers that were ready to learn and truly live the Marie experience!

Fishing Stats:
Number of Anglers: 8 from Brazil

Butterflies caught: 150
Temensis Caught: 81
Temensis Over 10lbs: 20
Temensis Over 15lbs: 8
Temensis Over 20lbs: 1

Highlight of the Week:

This week, Alex Puten finished the week with an excellent average of two Temensis per day, the largest measuring at 22 lbs! No less important are our new fishermen who managed to test their strength and capture some temensis of their own! Awesome work guys!
