Highlights of the week:

We have all heard about beginner’s luck at some point, and when it comes to fishing, that saying cannot be closer to the truth. On the first day of the week, rookie angler Federico was fishing in one of our lagoons when his line got twisted. He then proceeded to cast to the middle of the lagoon to stretch it out. When he finished situating his line, a 20 lb. fish was already pulling it away, leaving Federico to fight and land his first peacock bass! In the afternoon, his partner, Elias, who was fishing for the first time, was casting from a sandbar. To his delight, another fish showed up and ate his lure. After a tense fight, Elias finally caught his first peacock bass ever, and of course, another 20 lb. beast! Congratulations, guys!

See you next week!
