We are releasing a very exciting combo trip that will make Marié destination even more interesting for you.
Marié & Pirarucu – combo trips.
Pirarucú is located within the Mamirauá Reserve, about 600 km west of Manaus, a complex of lakes and channels between the Solimões River and Japura River. Mamirauá was the first Sustainable Development Reserve in Brazil, legislated by the Government of Amazonas in 1996, and remains the largest arapaima reserve in the world.
The area is receives a big amount of Arapaima every season migrating inside this very protected area in big fish schools ranging from 20-400 pounds!
We have exclusivity to acess and fish the core of Mamiraua Reserve – the biggest Arapaima reserve on earth where any kind of fishing in the core area was always forbidden – a complex of lakes, channels and rivers – where huge populations if arapaima feed and spawn.
The fishing season in our new Arapaima destination is the same for our giant peacock bass fishery.
So you can do both places in same trip with very easy connection between both not loosing valuable travel time.
Season is Mid Sept to early December, and we still have good dates in both places.
Marie fishing week is Thu-Thu and Pirarucu is Fri-Thu so we created a perfect combo trip doing first the big peacocks in Marie and then the giant Arapaima in Pirarucu.
Don’t let this chance go over and come experience the most intense fly fishing experiences in Brazilian Amazon.
